About the role
The hotel is seeking an experienced Executive Chef who is fluent in Arabic to lead its culinary operations. The role combines creative menu development, operational oversight, and close collaboration with senior hotel management to ensure the brand’s standards are consistently delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to all relevant meetings, aligning culinary activities with corporate strategy.
- Maintain and update departmental operation manuals and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Implement brand standards, monitor operations during peak periods, and adjust staffing or processes as needed.
- Oversee food quality, taste testing, and seasonal product availability across all outlets.
- Collaborate with the Materials Manager on procurement and with the Stewarding Manager on hygiene and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure exceptional guest service, handle complaints, and coach staff on guest interaction.
- Manage the employee restaurant to the same standards as public outlets.
Required profile
- Apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a large operation.
- Strong practical, operational, and administrative abilities with a creative flair.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
