Finance Director – Property Industry

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the financial function for a reputable property organisation in Qatar. This senior position is responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving performance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Analyse financial data to identify cost‑optimisation and revenue‑growth opportunities.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and implement effective risk‑management practices.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in financial management within the property or real‑estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Proven track record of ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous.
