Head of Budgeting and Forecasting

About the role

The Head of Budgeting and Forecasting leads the end‑to‑end budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis process for the entire group, including subsidiaries. This senior position ensures that budgets are prepared, consolidated and presented in a controlled, digitalised manner, supporting strategic decision‑making and board reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain templates and digital tools for budget and forecast preparation across all departments.
• Collect, review and validate budget and forecast inputs for accuracy, completeness and compliance with policies.
• Consolidate departmental data into group‑wide budget packages and present financial status to senior management.
• Monitor actual performance versus budget/forecast throughout the year, produce variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare annual financial plans, modelling assumptions and long‑range forecasts for the Board and shareholders.
• Develop and update budgeting, forecasting and financial planning guidelines for end‑users.
• Lead a team, ensure quality control, confidentiality and continuous improvement of processes, including IT‑driven automation.
• Collaborate with other functions to gather necessary inputs and support ad‑hoc reporting needs.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in corporate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and managing complex, multi‑entity budgets.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
