Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to lead the Finance function of S'hail Shipping & Maritime Services in Doha. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust cash and loan management, and supporting strategic investment decisions within the maritime sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage banking relationships and loan facilities, ensuring optimal financing structures.
• Oversee cash management, treasury activities, and liquidity planning.
• Conduct financial analysis of new investments and projects, providing insights for decision‑making.
• Prepare and present financial statements, MIS reports, and board presentations on financial health.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal reporting standards.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes for a complex organization.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in corporate or maritime finance.
• Strong ability to prepare, interpret, and present financial statements.
• Analytical mindset to support strategic decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CFA certification required.
• Demonstrated team management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
