HVAC/CRAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC/CRAC Technician will support fast‑paced facility operations, ensuring reliable performance of chillers, air‑conditioning, ventilation and structural systems, including specialized Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily field inspections and assist craftsmen on assigned duties.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and restore operation of HVAC/R and CRAC systems.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and manage work orders.
• Respond to after‑hour calls and emergency service requests.
• Operate company vehicle safely and comply with OSHA lifting requirements.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years experience maintaining commercial/industrial HVAC/R and CRAC systems.
• Journeyman HVAC certification with a valid CFC Universal License.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; DoD Secret clearance; ability to meet USCENTCOM deployment policies.
• Willingness to work in extreme conditions, travel 100 % and obtain a Qatar residency visa.

Required skills

• HVAC/R system installation, repair and maintenance.
• Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) troubleshooting.
• Journeyman HVAC expertise.
• CFC Universal licensing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
