Intern – Business Tax (Qatari National)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a motivated Qatari national to join our Business Tax team as an intern. You will gain hands‑on experience with Qatar income tax regulations while supporting senior professionals on real client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Qatar Income Tax rules and related processes.
• Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and related documentation.
• Research Qatar tax laws, international tax treaties and regulatory updates.
• Prepare tax computations, reconciliations and related reports.
• Collaborate with senior tax staff to analyse financial statements for tax implications.
• Support responses to tax authority audits.
• Help create presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with firm policies and local regulations.
• Research tax regimes in other jurisdictions and draft client reports under guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
