Manager, Research and Insights – Product Development & Design

About the role

We are seeking a Manager of Research and Insights to lead the research function within our Product Development and Design team. The role will translate customer and market intelligence into actionable recommendations that shape product, service and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, commission and deliver multi‑method research programmes (qualitative and quantitative) to inform product and service strategies.
• Maintain and update competitive intelligence and market benchmarking across multiple categories.
• Synthesise complex data into clear, evidence‑based narratives and executive‑level insight reports.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports using Power BI or Tableau to make data accessible for senior stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted insight partner to cross‑functional teams, ensuring research outputs are framed in terms of business impact, opportunity and risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics or related field (Master’s/MBA advantageous).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in research, insights or analytics, with a proven track record of leading a research function.
• Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative customer research methodologies.
• Strong competitive intelligence and market benchmarking capabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate multi‑source data into actionable recommendations for senior audiences.
