Offshore Construction Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee offshore construction activities in Qatar’s oil & gas sector. The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering construction scopes safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with project engineers, construction coordinators and engineering teams to review work packs, ensure constructability and prepare offshore construction plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary offshore construction teams, manage daily activities, monitor progress against schedules and control Permit to Work processes.
• Champion HSE compliance, conduct risk assessments, HAZIDs, JSAs and drive a zero‑incident safety culture.
• Manage logistics, material mobilization, equipment and personnel to ensure resources are available for execution.
• Support detailed Level‑4 scheduling, forecasting of manpower, accommodation and equipment needs, and maintain critical path integrity.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Higher Diploma, or recognized trade qualification with extensive offshore experience.
• Minimum 15 years of offshore oil & gas experience, including brownfield modifications, shutdowns, campaigns and multidisciplinary team supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Working knowledge of SAP, EDMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, vessel GA drawings and offshore piping layouts.
• Valid offshore safety certifications (BOSIET, T‑BOSIET) and HSE certifications.
