Peer Reviewer – Radiology, Nuclear Medicine & Medical Imaging (PhD)

About the role

This part‑time, long‑term position allows you to work remotely as a peer reviewer for manuscripts in radiology, nuclear medicine and medical imaging. You will support the journal’s editorial process by providing expert, objective assessments of submitted research.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of each manuscript.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that the literature review is comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy and relevance.
• Provide constructive, written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses and any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on your evaluation.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
