Primary Teacher – International School

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher to join its supportive team. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality education to children aged 3‑11, contributing to the school’s mission of developing truly bilingual international citizens.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the school’s mission and philosophy, ensuring students become bilingual international citizens.
• Plan, prepare, record, assess and report on student progress to meet diverse learning and social needs.
• Adapt flexibly to school priorities, actively contributing to development plans and policy implementation.
• Utilise student tracking and monitoring processes to enhance learning outcomes and professional practice.
• Take personal responsibility for ongoing professional development and act as an ambassador for the school.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a degree plus PGCE/QTS.
• Proven teaching track record with at least two years of experience, preferably within international schools.
• Strong knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum and the UK National Curriculum.
• Demonstrated good classroom practice, interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workloads.
• Experience teaching across different year groups and integrating technology to enhance learning.
