About the role

The Principal IT/Digital will join BCG Platinion’s Energy Practice, partnering with senior client leadership to shape and execute technology strategies that drive business performance. This senior role blends deep digital expertise with consulting acumen to guide complex, large‑scale transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client C‑suite to diagnose key challenges and define comprehensive IT and digital strategies.
• Secure stakeholder buy‑in and lead multidisciplinary BCG case teams through high‑impact assignments.
• Oversee architecture, cybersecurity, enterprise application, and risk management components of transformation programs.
• Translate strategic vision into actionable technology roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure delivery of measurable business value.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior consulting or technology leadership roles, preferably within the energy sector.
• Proven ability to influence and communicate with executive audiences.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership capabilities.
