Project Manager Assistant

About the role

Parsons is looking for a motivated Project Manager Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and engineering projects in Qatar. You will work closely with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status updates and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare project documentation, including reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Identify project risks, issues, and challenges, and help develop mitigation actions.
• Support implementation of company policies, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Review and track project deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
• Assist in contract management, procurement activities, and vendor/consultant coordination.
• Conduct or support site visits to monitor progress and adherence to project plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 15 years of experience in project management or a closely related role, preferably within construction or infrastructure.
• Experience on infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil works.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
