Project Manager – Food Waste Recycling & Bioplastics Facility

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the development of a government‑approved Food Waste Recycling and Bioplastic Production Facility in Doha, Qatar. The role will oversee the project from concept through construction and commissioning, ensuring successful delivery of this landmark sustainability initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget and resources.
• Coordinate commissioning activities to transition the plant from construction to operational status.
• Engage with ministries, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to align objectives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and technical standards.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary project team.

Required profile

• Engineering, Environmental Science or related degree.
• 10+ years of industrial project management experience, including at least 5 years in commissioning large‑scale facilities.
• Experience in waste management or bioplastics is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Previous experience working in the GCC region is advantageous.
