Public Relations Senior Specialist (Qatarization)

About the role

Develop media plans for corporate projects and initiatives, engage with local, regional and international media, and formulate PR strategies that enhance Vodafone Qatar’s brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop media plans and engage with local, regional and international media outlets.
• Draft, edit and distribute press releases, talking points, speeches and key messages.
• Manage media relations, requests, invitations and organise press conferences.
• Maintain the media calendar and produce regular media monitoring reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly analytics reports on media activities for the Head of Media Relations.
• Coordinate training and support for Vodafone spokespersons.
• Facilitate resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors and support promotional plan implementation.
• Enhance the company’s voice through online and offline channels.
• Coordinate media interview scheduling for the CEO and spokespersons.

Required profile

• 0‑6 years of experience in media relations, events or public relations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to produce analytical reports and manage media engagements.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting press releases and key messages.
