Radiologist (Arabic Speaker) – Diagnostic Imaging

About the role

The organization seeks a qualified Diagnostic Radiologist to provide X‑ray, ultrasound and radiology diagnostic consultation and reporting services. The role requires fluency in Arabic and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including conventional, digital X‑ray and ultrasound examinations.
• Generate accurate radiology reports and ensure timely communication with referring physicians.
• Manage patient registration and imaging workflow using the Radiology Information System (RIS) and link to the Computerized Radiography (CR) system and PACS.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and employee health records.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and X‑ray safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Diagnostic Radiologist license recognized by the Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in diagnostic radiology within a healthcare setting.
• Medical degree with a postgraduate specialization in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RIS (Radiology Information System).
• Experience using CR (Computerized Radiography) systems linked to PACS.
• Competence in operating ultrasound and digital X‑ray equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and hazard mitigation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
