Restaurant Reservation Agent – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Restaurant Reservation Agent supports the Food & Beverage team at The Ritz‑Carlton in Doha, ensuring guests receive seamless reservation service. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with guests, coordination with other hotel departments, and use of technology to manage bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist other departments to ensure optimal guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Use point‑of‑sale systems and computers to enter and retrieve reservation information.
• Engage guests in conversation about their stay, property services and local attractions.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any incidents promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related food‑and‑beverage or hospitality experience.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and information retrieval.
