Senior Corporate & Advisory Associate – Doha

About the role

An established legal practice in Doha is seeking a commercially‑minded Senior Associate to strengthen its Corporate & Advisory team. The successful candidate will manage complex matters independently while mentoring junior lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple corporate and advisory matters, ensuring legal soundness and commercial focus.
• Draft and review client advice, contracts, strategies and memoranda.
• Represent clients in meetings and negotiations, maintaining strong client relationships.
• Allocate and supervise work of associates, trainees, researchers and paralegals, reviewing output quality.
• Support business development through networking, marketing, articles and speaking engagements.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in a law firm or legal practice with strong corporate/advisory exposure.
• Accredited law degree and solid legal knowledge.
• Demonstrated management and leadership experience, including supervising junior lawyers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/Arabic preferred.
• Middle‑East experience and multinational team exposure are advantageous.
