Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the business by delivering financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting and building financial business cases such as investment evaluations and insourcing decisions. The role focuses on adding value to improve decision‑making and streamline finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial models and conduct quantitative analyses.
• Analyze actual revenues and costs, prepare root‑cause variance analyses and report to management on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with finance and business stakeholders.
• Perform ad‑hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
• Define, monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
• Ensure financial accounting reports align with corporate definitions and standards.
• Optimize reporting of route profitability, financial accounting and management reporting.
• Review annual budget submissions against strategic targets and control spend to meet cost‑of‑sale goals.
• Evaluate business case proposals for incremental revenue or cost reduction.
• Check contracts and agreements for financial compliance.
• Consolidate and analyse departmental financial results monthly and during the budgeting cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
