TNAP AMP Manager / Heavy Pavement Technician

About the role

The TNAP AMP Manager/Heavy Pavement Technician provides technical guidance for the Transportation Network and Airfield Pavement Activity Management Plan (TNAP) AMP, supporting the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar. The role ensures safe and efficient movement of people, equipment, aircraft, and material across the installation by managing airfield pavements and transportation infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage airfield pavements and transportation infrastructure networks, including roads, bridges, parking lots, traffic signals, signage, and related assets.
• Provide technical guidance for the Heavy Pavements Sub‑AMP and Airfield Pavements Sub‑AMP.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management, offering recommendations on investment, visibility, requirements, planning, and performance.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, gap analysis, and implement data standards for asset inventories.
• Support condition assessments, ensuring data visibility, analysis, and proper documentation.
• Advise the Government on defining, prioritizing, and integrating requirements for infrastructure projects.
• Utilize appropriate systems to identify investment needs and sustain assets throughout their life cycle.

Required profile

• Technical expertise in heavy pavement and airfield pavement management.
• Experience with asset lifecycle management and infrastructure planning.
• Ability to conduct quality assurance reviews and data gap analysis.
