Treasury Manager – Cash Management & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Manager specialized in cash management and operations on a contractual basis for a client in Qatar. The role supports the Treasury Director in cash forecasting, banking relationships, trade finance, and SAP S4 Hana implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Treasury Director in preparing, managing, and reporting group cash flow to senior leadership.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity and support financial planning.
• Develop and implement cash management strategies to maximize returns on surplus funds and minimize borrowing costs.
• Lead the enhancement, implementation, and reporting of all treasury modules in SAP S4 Hana.
• Manage relationships with banks, negotiate services, and maintain bank accounts for efficient cash management.
• Administer the group’s trade finance book, including advance payments, performance bonds, and retention bonds.
• Handle security instruments such as guarantees, cheque issuance, and collateral against loan facilities.
• Develop and enforce treasury policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train junior team members to ensure effective treasury operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a tier‑1 bank or corporation, preferably with GCC exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics; MBA, CFA, CMA, ACA, or ACCA required.
• Proven experience managing banking relationships, negotiating services, and optimizing account structures.
• Strong knowledge of KYC and AML requirements for treasury operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• SAP S4 Hana implementation, integration, and reporting.
• Power BI for automated cash‑flow reporting and dashboard creation.
