Accountant – Accounts Payable (SAP) – Qatar

About the role

ABYAT is seeking an Accountant to join its Qatar entity. You will manage high‑volume accounts payable transactions, ensure accurate invoice posting, and maintain SAP documentation in line with company financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process and post vendor invoices in SAP using MIRO.
• Execute advance payments (F‑47) and run vendor payments (F‑110).
• Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts via FBL1N.
• Review and clear GR/IR accounts, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams.
• Handle petty cash transactions and verify expense documentation.
• Manage vendor communications, follow up on approvals, and maintain professional Outlook correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, support audit requirements, and keep proper documentation for all AP activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable within a high‑transaction environment.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or similar sectors.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of invoices and follow‑ups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (mandatory).

Required skills

• SAP (including MIRO, F‑47, F‑110, FBL1N transaction codes).
