About the role
SGS is seeking an experienced Advanced NDT Technician to join its inspection team in Doha. You will apply sophisticated non‑destructive testing methods to ensure the integrity and safety of client assets.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced NDT techniques, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
- Conduct corrosion mapping using scanners such as Eddyfi RMS, Olympus, AUT and related software.
- Identify site issues promptly and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all inspection activities.
Required profile
- B.Sc. or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
- PCN Level II certification in UT and PAUT.
- Minimum 10 years overall NDT experience.
- At least 3 years post‑certification experience in UT and PAUT.
- Proven experience in corrosion mapping using advanced scanners.
Required skills
- Advanced Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
- Corrosion mapping with Eddyfi RMS, Olympus, AUT scanners.
- Use of associated NDT software tools.
- PCN Level II certification.
