AI Outcome Engineer – Forward Deployed Engineering

About the role

The AI Outcome Engineer in Forward Deployed Engineering bridges pre‑sales agreements and post‑sales execution for Google Cloud AI customers. You will shape solutions during technical evaluation, ensuring rapid activation, adoption, and viable delivery within the customer’s IT ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account teams and Customer Engineers during technical evaluation to assess feasibility, shape long‑term adoption proposals, and validate engagement requests.
• Diagnose and resolve complex implementation issues at code level, identify product bugs, and test workarounds to remove execution roadblocks.
• Act as the primary liaison to core Product and Engineering teams, troubleshooting deployment blockers and translating field feedback into feature requests.
• Guide implementation strategy with technical authority and architectural foresight while owning delivery reality alongside customer‑facing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners/customers.
• Experience delivering technical solutions and interfacing with product or engineering organizations.

Required skills

• System design and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI.
• Enterprise integrations (APIs, ECMs, identity management).
• Cloud infrastructure and AI/ML model deployment expertise.
• Strong debugging and code‑level troubleshooting abilities.
