Aircraft Mechanic – Galley Insert Shop (Avionics)

About the role

As an Aircraft Mechanic in the Galley Insert Shop (Avionics) you will perform maintenance work in line with approved technical data, QR standards and procedures, ensuring the highest shop practices and safety. You will deliver operational results set by the unit while working within tight time constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
• Operate equipment and tooling required for galley‑insert component repairs.
• Interpret technical information and maintain continuous operation of assigned work.
• Work independently under normal conditions and meet productivity standards.
• Perform additional department duties as directed by the head of department.
• Comply with company health and safety policies and ensure safety awareness among team members.
• Execute aircraft component rectifications according to QCAA/EASAPART‑145 requirements and quality standards.
• Motivate the team by leading by example.

Required profile

• High School/Vocational/Diploma with minimum 3 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Degree, diploma or licence in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Basic ICAO Type II licence.
• Trade‑related certificates or OEM component training.
• Basic knowledge of soldering and EWIS.
• At least one year of practical experience with galley‑insert components such as ovens, air chillers, freezers, trash compactors and beverage makers.
• Recognised aeronautical/technical training certificates.
