Android Developer (Hybrid, Doha)

About the role

We are seeking an Android Developer to join our Doha‑based team in a hybrid working model. You will contribute to the development of mobile banking applications, working within agile interdisciplinary pods that deliver customer‑centric solutions in a fast‑moving digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native Android mobile banking applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing apps by fixing bugs, refactoring code, and adding unit tests.
• Implement new features that meet functional and performance requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions and provide insights.
• Collaborate with UX designers, architects, backend developers, and QA to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Utilize external data sources and APIs for feature integration.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold software standards.
• Establish and automate continuous testing for delivered features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in native Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of designing secure, robust, and scalable applications.
• Familiarity with Google’s Android interface guidelines and design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical thinking for solving complex engineering challenges.
