Application Engineer

About the role

The Application Engineer will develop high‑quality software solutions for Alfardan Automotive, support business application users, and deliver user training. The role focuses on automotive retail accounting, dealership workflows, and financial module integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and configure general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, tax, asset management, and budgeting.
• Assist with periodic financial reconciliations and support internal/external audits.
• Analyze dealership workflows to optimise processes between sales, after‑sales, and accounting.
• Resolve data‑integrity and transaction‑flow issues across financial modules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Previous application engineering experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward user support and training.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting ERP systems such as Autoline (Keyloop) or similar automotive DMS platforms.
• Proficiency in data extraction and analytics using AI tools.
• Experience creating financial reports with BI dashboards.
• Understanding of database structures.
