Arabic Language Teacher

About the role

TradesApp is looking for an experienced Arabic Language Teacher to provide private, conversational Arabic lessons for a family based in Doha. The focus is on spoken Khaleeji Arabic, especially the Qatari dialect, to help learners communicate confidently in everyday and cultural contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalized Arabic lessons centred on conversational Khaleeji and Qatari Arabic.
• Create lesson plans that match each learner’s proficiency and objectives.
• Teach Qatari vocabulary, pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances.
• Prepare relevant learning materials and interactive exercises.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and monitor progress.
• Travel internationally when required to maintain lesson continuity.

Required profile

• Fluent or native‑level Arabic speaker with strong command of the Qatari dialect.
• Previous experience teaching Arabic to individuals or families.
• Good understanding of Khaleeji Arabic and Qatari culture.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and discretion.
• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in teaching spoken Arabic, especially the Qatari dialect.
• Ability to develop customized lesson plans and materials.
