Arabic Teacher

About the role

The Arabic Teacher role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Doha, Qatar. You will design and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives, while integrating cultural and, where appropriate, Islamic studies content.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age‑appropriate Arabic language lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural and linguistic diversity.
• Integrate aspects of Arabic culture and Islamic studies into the curriculum as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience teaching Arabic to diverse age groups, preferably in an international or bilingual school.
• Strong classroom management and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
