Assistant Marketing Manager

About the role

The Assistant Marketing Manager will support the Sales & Marketing team at a luxury resort in Doha, promoting the brand both internally and externally. This full‑time position combines guest‑facing sales activities with office administration to drive revenue and maintain high guest loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Promote brand awareness and use sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Contact potential owners by telephone to arrange preview package tours and sales presentations.
• Explain tour details, verify eligibility, and encourage guests to purchase or schedule tours.
• Determine and allocate complimentary gifts such as reward points or tickets.
• Perform general office duties including filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
• Receive, record, and relay messages accurately.
• Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling, and coaching staff.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and ensure quality standards.
• Handle objects up to 10 lb without assistance and perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 2 years experience in a luxury 5‑star resort environment.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience with Marriott or St. Regis preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
