Assistant Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (Wholesale)

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Corporate Banking and Wholesale Banking teams in Qatar by assisting with financial analysis, credit risk assessment and the structuring of financing facilities for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Relationship Managers to understand client needs and prepare Credit Proposals, including new facilities, annual renewals and amendments.
• Conduct financial analysis and credit risk assessments to determine appropriate risk ratings.
• Structure financing facilities that meet both client requirements and bank policies.
• Liaise with Wholesale Risk Management and the Compliance Unit to resolve risk and compliance queries.
• Participate in client meetings to gather information and present proposals.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple credit proposals simultaneously.
• Understanding of corporate banking products and risk management processes.
