Assistant Relationship Manager – Qatar Banking

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support the development and maintenance of client relationships for a leading bank in Qatar. The role focuses on selling and cross‑selling banking products, delivering tailored solutions, and helping the team meet sales targets while preserving credit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day business development activities for a wholesale banking portfolio and acquire new corporate customers.
• Conduct due‑diligence and credit analysis, collect required documents, and forward them to the credit team.
• Drive product penetration and cross‑selling through joint client visits with specialists.
• Prepare and present regular portfolio meetings, introduce new products and services, and monitor client satisfaction.
• Analyse creditworthiness, compile financial data, and develop account plans to identify business opportunities.
• Support payment collection, renewal processes, and lending portfolio performance monitoring.
• Recommend procedural improvements to enhance service quality and cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of wholesale and corporate banking processes.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and due‑diligence.
