Assistant Spa & Wellness Manager

About the role

The Assistant Spa & Wellness Manager supports the Spa & Wellness Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Banana Island Resort Doha. This role ensures the spa and wellness facilities operate to the highest luxury standards while supporting team performance and departmental profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation and administration of spa and wellness areas.
• Ensure all treatments and services meet Anantara’s luxury standards.
• Supervise therapists, receptionists, fitness and wellness staff.
• Monitor appointments, guest flow, cleanliness, and overall service delivery.
• Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of spa team members.
• Conduct regular briefings and communicate operational updates.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and brand standards.
• Manage inventory of treatment products, amenities, and retail items.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower planning.
• Contribute to achieving revenue, productivity, and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of spa treatments, wellness services, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Experience in guest relations and team leadership within a spa or hotel environment.
• Ability to monitor daily operations, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
