Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports daily store operations, drives sales performance and leads a team of Beauty Advisors and Specialists to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening/closing procedures, grooming standards, tester hygiene and overall floor readiness.
• Guide staff on consultation techniques, product storytelling and handling customer queries.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving KPIs such as sales targets, conversion rate, ATV, UPT and customer retention.
• Monitor product performance, stock levels, replenishment and execute in‑store activations, promotions and beauty events.
• Lead, coach and develop Beauty Advisors, Specialists and Cashiers, providing on‑floor feedback and training on new launches.
• Manage inventory, shrinkage control, expiry management (FIFO/FEFO) and ensure visual merchandising standards and planogram compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years experience in beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of beauty products, consultation techniques and customer experience standards.
• Proven ability to support KPIs, drive team performance and maintain operational excellence.
• Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills.
