Assistant Vice President – Central Operations Relationship Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President to lead Central Operations Relationship Management within our international banking network. Based in Doha, the role will support the implementation of the Bank’s Target Operating Model across branches and subsidiaries, ensuring operational excellence, governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and governance of the Group’s Target Operating Model (TOM) across international locations.
• Conduct operational assessments, gap analyses and regulatory reviews, delivering recommendations and periodic reports.
• Coordinate rollout of new products, systems, processes and business initiatives across branches.
• Support policy and procedure reviews, process re‑engineering and quality‑assurance framework implementation.
• Monitor operational reporting, escalating issues and partnering with Compliance, Risk, Operations and Business teams.
• Drive branch onboarding, operational readiness, remediation of audit observations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international branches, subsidiaries and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, IT or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of banking operations experience, including electronic banking, core banking and international banking.
• At least 5 years managing or supporting international banking operations.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements and operational governance.
