Assistant Vice President - Investigations

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Investigations will lead the remittance investigations function for QNB Group’s retail and corporate customers. Reporting to the Vice President of Transaction Services, the incumbent ensures timely and accurate handling of outward and inward remittance enquiries while aligning the function with the bank’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the remittance investigations team, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Develop and refine processes that support efficient investigation workflows.
• Liaise with internal departments to coordinate information and resolve issues.
• Assist the VP in creating and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the investigations sub‑section.
• Implement best practices and KPI‑driven performance monitoring.
• Delegate authority to staff within delegated limits and oversee its proper use.
• Maintain a clear understanding of the bank’s financial and non‑financial performance drivers.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in banking investigations, remittance operations, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage complex investigative processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on performance measurement.
