Associate Director – Deals

About the role

KPMG Qatar is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead its Deals Advisory practice. You will drive high‑quality, client‑centric solutions across the full deal lifecycle, from strategy and evaluation to execution and value realization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Deals Advisory engagements, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and cross‑functional specialists.
• Advise clients on transaction strategy, financial due diligence, valuation, deal execution, restructuring and value creation.
• Review complex financial, commercial and operational data, identify key issues and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Take a leading role in negotiations, supporting clients in assessing transaction terms, risks and opportunities.
• Present reports and findings to senior stakeholders, enabling informed investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, investors and financial institutions.
• Identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposals and thought‑leadership initiatives.
• Manage engagement scope, commercial performance, risk, resources and timelines in line with KPMG standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Deals Advisory, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, valuation, restructuring or private equity.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead complex engagements and multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders.
