Associate - Investments

About the role

The Associate – Investments supports the Manager – Investments in managing a diversified investment portfolio. The role involves analysing investment opportunities, monitoring performance, and applying asset‑allocation strategies across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess investment opportunities, execute transactions and monitor portfolio performance together with the Manager – Investments.
• Conduct market research, build financial models, perform valuations, due diligence, investment structuring and legal framework review.
• Provide analytical support for listed equity, fixed income, real estate, private equity, alternative investments, funds and direct investment opportunities.
• Construct, review and maintain financial models for existing and potential investments.
• Monitor performance of portfolio companies and asset classes, and analyse future investment opportunities.
• Perform valuation, investment return and sensitivity analyses.
• Execute performance and market analysis, maintain system inputs/outputs and generate custom reports.
• Maintain and develop Excel‑based systems infrastructure.
• Assist in preparing investment committee presentations.
• Participate in ad‑hoc special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• 6‑8 years of experience, with at least 4 years recent experience in asset/investment management, corporate finance, equity research or investment banking.
• Significant progress toward CFA, MBA or another relevant credential (strongly preferred).
• Business‑fluent English (mandatory); Arabic preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of multi‑strategy, multi‑asset investment mandates.
• Knowledge of investor relations, sustainability and ESG reporting (preferred).
