About the role
The Associate NDT Tech is an entry‑level position that works under close supervision. The role follows defined standard operating procedures and quality guidelines while performing non‑destructive testing on welds and materials.
Key responsibilities
- Determine conformity or non‑conformity of flaws and report findings accurately.
- Perform NDT examinations (RT, UT, PT, MT) according to the project NDT plan, procedures, codes and contractual specifications.
- Collaborate with the assigned QC inspector to verify completion of rectification work.
- Calibrate NDT equipment daily and record results as required by procedures.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience as an NDT technician in a relevant discipline.
- ASNT, PCN or CSWIP Level II qualification.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
Required skills
- Radiographic Testing (RT).
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
- Daily equipment calibration and documentation.
