Associate Project Manager – IT & Business Transformation

About the role

BGTS is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of IT and business transformation initiatives. Working closely with senior Project Managers and the PMO, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with governance standards while maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support project delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting activities.
• Monitor progress and maintain delivery governance and controls.
• Help manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, status reports, and governance artifacts.
• Coordinate activities across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Support testing readiness, deployment planning, and production go‑live.
• Assist with post‑implementation reviews and project closure.
• Escalate delivery risks, issues, and blockers to the Project Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management or coordination experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of project planning, coordination, and delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Planview.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methods.
• Familiarity with project governance, scope, risk, and issue management.
