Automation Maintenance Engineer – Industrial Control Systems

About the role

ISS International Qatar WLL is seeking an experienced Automation Maintenance Engineer to join a long‑term project at a client site in Mesaieed, Qatar. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting complex industrial automation systems within the petrochemical and fertilizer sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on maintenance and troubleshooting of DCS and ESD control systems.
• Maintain turbo machinery control and protection systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Apply cyber‑security guidelines and manage networking aspects of automation equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and respond to equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience with industrial control systems in petrochemical or fertilizer environments.
• Proven ability to work on‑site for a fixed‑term contract of five years.
