Barista – Full‑time

About the role

Join Marriott International in West Bay, Doha as a Barista. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee and food service while ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and food items.
• Operate the cash register, collect payments, provide change, and complete end‑of‑shift cash counts and reports.
• Maintain work areas, coffee carts, tables, dishes, and utensils throughout the shift.
• Turn coffee‑making appliances on and off as required and ensure they are clean and functional.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies, and report any incidents.
• Provide courteous service, assist guests with disabilities, and uphold Marriott’s service standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive hand‑eye coordination tasks.
• Willingness to follow safety training and maintain confidentiality of company information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Experience operating a cash register and handling monetary transactions.
