Barista

About the role

MC CAFFE, a café chain founded in Paris and now expanding internationally, is hiring a full-time, on-site Barista for its location in Doha, Qatar. The Barista prepares and serves hot and cold coffee, tea and other café drinks according to recipes and quality standards, while working closely with the team to keep operations smooth and the workplace hygienic and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other drinks according to recipes and quality standards
• Operate coffee equipment and handle food preparation for light snacks or pastries
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and restock supplies
• Greet guests, take and process orders, handle payments and provide responsive customer service
• Work with team members to uphold hygiene and safety standards

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality environment
• Able to stand for long periods, work flexible shifts and cope with a fast pace
• English (and other languages) is an advantage

Required skills

• Barista skills: beverage preparation, espresso machine operation and basic coffee knowledge
• Customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Food preparation following hygiene, safety and quality standards
• Cash-handling and POS system familiarity preferred
