Biology Teacher (Hybrid, Al Khor)

About the role

Physicsman Education Center is seeking a full‑time Biology Teacher to join its team in Al Khor. The position is hybrid, allowing some work‑from‑home flexibility for designated tasks while most teaching activities occur on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging biology lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum.
• Prepare instructional materials, plan lessons, and develop assessments.
• Teach classes, facilitate discussions, and supervise practical activities or demonstrations.
• Grade assignments and exams, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate learner records.
• Communicate regularly with learners and guardians and participate in departmental meetings and professional development.

Required profile

• Strong teaching and classroom‑management skills with a proven track record as a qualified teacher.
• Solid subject‑specific expertise in biology and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Effective lesson‑planning capabilities and experience creating engaging learning activities and assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, learners, and guardians.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or license is highly beneficial.
• Experience at school or college‑preparatory level, familiarity with modern educational technology, and ability to support diverse learning styles.
