Branch Service Assistant (Customer Service)

About the role

The Branch Service Assistant (BSA) supports walk‑in customers in a bank branch by handling quick‑service requests and promoting digital banking channels. The role focuses on delivering fast, accurate service while improving the overall client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with quick services such as statement printing, QID updates, CIF updates, card activation, IBAN letter issuance, and delivery of liability/obligation/clearance letters.
• Migrate customers to digital channels and educate them on alternative banking options to reduce wait times.
• Accept and forward customer requests to branch officers, ensure compliance with operating procedures, and maintain branch branding standards.
• Follow internal SOPs, monitor application status, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare departmental statements and reports, and adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Support other staff members and perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Customer‑oriented and service‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive in managing branch traffic and reducing wait times.
• Ability to promote and educate customers on digital banking solutions.
• Commitment to compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Preferably Qatari nationality, with emphasis on candidates who are Qatari mothers.
