Brand & Communications Manager

About the role

The Brand & Communications Manager will shape Badrgo’s brand positioning and external reputation across multiple markets. This role ensures a consistent, compelling brand presence on all channels, from corporate communications to social media and influencer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the brand strategy, visual identity guidelines, and tone of voice for all markets.
• Conduct regular brand audits and update guidelines based on market feedback, product evolution, or competitive shifts.
• Own all external communications, including press releases, media briefings, crisis communications, and corporate announcements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and PR agencies across operating markets.
• Lead crisis communications planning and act as the first escalation point for brand reputation issues.
• Design and execute content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snapchat, Facebook, and LinkedIn, tailored to rider, driver, and partner audiences.
• Manage posting calendars, coordinate with external creative/social agencies, and oversee production of visual assets such as static graphics, short‑form video, and motion content.
• Identify, vet, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors relevant to Badrgo’s audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand strategy, corporate communications, and social media management across multiple markets.
• Strong ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams, creative agencies, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of handling crisis communications.
