Business Analyst – Transaction Banking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Domestic Wholesale Banking and Global Transaction Banking teams in Qatar. The role focuses on driving cash management and trade finance fee growth for corporate and trading clients through analysis, requirement gathering, and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client transaction flows to uncover revenue opportunities and wallet‑share gaps.
• Prepare dashboards, reports and management insights on transaction‑banking performance.
• Gather, document and validate business, functional and process requirements for cash‑management and trade‑finance solutions.
• Support solution design for cash management, payments, liquidity, virtual accounts, letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, supply‑chain finance and working‑capital products.
• Assist digital‑trade and cash‑management platform implementation, workflow automation and digital onboarding.
• Coordinate UAT, defect management and issue resolution during solution rollout.
• Act as liaison between Business, Product, Operations, Technology and Relationship Management teams.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transaction banking, cash management or trade finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across Business, Product, Operations and Technology functions.

Required skills

• Business requirement documentation (BRD, FRS) and process mapping.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination.
• Data analysis and reporting.
