Business Development Manager – AI Sustainability SaaS

About the role

The AI Business Development Manager will be a key driver of growth for our AI‑powered sustainability SaaS solutions across the Middle East. Reporting to the Chief Market Officer, you will identify large‑scale sustainability initiatives, forge strategic alliances with smart‑city providers, consultants and system integrators, and build a robust indirect sales channel to position the company as a regional leader.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market research to uncover sustainability projects and emerging opportunities in the Middle East.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs beyond traditional utilities.
• Build and nurture relationships with smart‑city providers, consultants, platform providers and system integrators.
• Identify and secure commercial partnerships to embed the company’s AI tools into third‑party offerings.
• Establish and manage an indirect sales channel, providing training and support to partners.
• Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and technical teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in SaaS business development, preferably within AI or sustainability domains.
• Track record of building partnerships and driving revenue growth in complex ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of sustainability trends and digital disruption in the Middle East.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
