Cargo Inventory Analytics Specialist

About the role

The Cargo Inventory Analytics Specialist supports the Cargo Inventory Analytics Manager in developing and implementing inventory controls across Qatar Airways’ passenger and freighter network. The role focuses on optimizing capacity allocation, overbooking levels, and commercial controls to maximize revenue and adapt to market fluctuations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and set optimal allocation capacity across the cargo network on a seasonal basis.
• Define commercial entry parameters for both structural and ad‑hoc demand to filter beneficial flows.
• Develop initiatives to improve commercial controls using data analysis and optimization models.
• Communicate inventory control initiatives to regional stakeholders and ensure alignment.
• Define seasonal payload limitations and set capacity management controls for impacted routes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong grasp of statistical concepts such as regression, hypothesis testing, and probability distributions.
• Ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Previous experience in the air cargo domain is preferred.
