Chief Human Resources Officer

About the role

Our client, a diversified group based in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a strategic leader to head its human resources function. The Chief Human Resources Officer will shape the group’s people agenda, align talent initiatives with long‑term business goals, and drive a high‑performance culture across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the group‑wide human capital strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Oversee all HR domains including organisational development, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee engagement, succession planning and HR operations.
• Partner with the Group CEO and executive team to enhance organisational effectiveness and develop leadership capabilities.
• Lead HR transformation programmes, modernise policies and systems, and strengthen governance and compliance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Significant executive‑level HR leadership experience in large, diversified or multi‑business organisations.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise‑wide people strategies, organisational transformation, talent management and leadership development.
• Experience operating in the GCC, preferably Qatar, with strong commercial acumen.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior executives.
• Strategic mindset, executive presence and capability to lead change at scale.
