Civil Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Dukhan, Qatar, focusing on oil & gas infrastructure projects. The role involves leading design, planning and construction oversight while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning phases of civil engineering projects.
• Supervise on‑site construction activities to ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence.
• Manage project timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings and documentation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards, including Permit‑to‑Work procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in the oil & gas sector with Qatar Energy exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Permit‑to‑Work procedures and local regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
